Image is everything, or at least it is when she’s assembling her clients in Ring of Honor. When working alone though Lacey manages to lead us all astray. The beautiful and energetic Lacey is nothing more than a hate-filled egomaniac, an attitude that blindsides you, much like her dirty tactics inside of the ring.

At only twenty-four years (born in 1983) it is hard to believe that Lacey has been training to be a wrestler for over seven years. As a child Lacey was an avid wrestling fan and even had connections to the business through Eddie Sharkey. At sixteen years old Lacey began training to become a professional wrestler, and in 2000 made her professional debut.

Lacey found herself wrestling in several promotions before engaging in a heated rivalry with her current tag team partner Rain. The two ladies were bitter toward one another, so much so that their disagreements could only be solved in matches that allowed literally anything e.g. Falls Count Anywhere.

Eventually the two ladies put their differences aside to form arguably one of the greatest modern day female tag team - The Minnesota Homewrecking Crew. As a unit the pair racked up some impressive wins over combatants such as Daizee Haze, Mickie Knuckles and Sara Del Rey.

Lacey found herself in several promotions more or less from the start of her career. In 2004 Lacey competed in the IWA-MS all women’s tournament to determine the very first NWA/IWA-Mid South Women’s Champion. Daizee Haze, Mercedes Martinez and Lacey met in the finals, but it was Lacey who walked out with the honour of being called the very first Champion.

The victory was of course an ego-boost for Lacey who began viewing herself as far superior than everyone else. Lacey continued working for IWA-Mid South defending her Championship, then eventually losing it to Mercedes Martinez four months later. Lacey soon found herself working with Ring of Honor, quickly becoming the manager of the Lacey’s Angels stable.

The group lasted a few months before disbanding after continual losses. Lacey became a hated member of the Ring of Honor roster, but that did not bother her. Lacey also found herself working for Dave Prazak’s SHIMMER promotion, making her debut against Daizee Haze on the Volume 1 DVD release. Lacey continued wrestling for SHIMMER, going as far as to reach the finals in the SHIMMER Championship tournament in 2007.

Throughout 2007 Lacey engaged in a heated feud with Daizee Haze in ROH. The two expressed their disgust for one another, meeting in singles matches, intergender tag matches and six person No DQ matches. At one point Lacey directed traffic resulting in Daizee Haze being sent through a table.

Late 2007 has witnessed The Age of the Fall stable comprised of Necro Butcher, Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs come into fruition. This though hasn’t prevented Lacey from climbing into the ring. Instead Lacey has vowed to dethrone Sara Del Rey, and rid ROH of all the ‘trash’. This new found objective became clear at the very end of 2007 when Lacey and the ‘Original Diva’ clashed in the ring.

Sunny made a special appearance in Ring of Honor which did not sit well with Lacey. After losing a triple threat match Lacey began verbally abusing Sunny citing she was everything that was wrong with women’s wrestling, going as far as to call her a whore.

As the years go by, the vindictive side of Lacey seems to grow bigger and bigger. Can we really handle Lacey in 2008? We don’t have a choice.
