THE ROAD TO KENTUCKY
Jillian Fletcher - real name of the RAW Diva - began circling the Independent Scene in 1998 under the ring name of ‘The Bombshell’ Macaela Mercedes. Her time wrestling on the scene saw her step into the ring with current divas Mickie James (under the name of Alexis Laree) as well as SHIMMER regulars such as Lexie Fyfe. In 2003 Jillian Fletcher joined Ohio Valley Wrestling but got signed one year later where she began using the Jillian Hall name.Originally Jillian Hall was a firm fan favourite in OVW but that changed when she turned heel after undergoing a major make-over witnessing breast implants and bleach blonde hair. On-screen the heel turn was justified by the breast implants leaking and as a result sending the silicon into her brain causing her to become psychotic. Whilst under this gimmick she managed the OVW Southern Tag Team Champions the Blonde Bombers - Tank and Chad Toland - alongside the trio was Melissa Coates who went around blinding people with rubbing alcohol.
MAKING ENEMIES ON SMACKDOWN!
July 28 saw Jillian Hall debut on the SmackDown! Broadcast with a ‘fixer’ gimmick. She was introduced alongside Melina and the MNM tag team - however she was introduced something else as well - a huge grotesque mole! She firstly came to blows with Stacy Keibler after Hall attempted to sign Stacy Keibler following a scandal about who she was dating. The two met on Velocity and the newcomer walked out the winner.Her relationship with MNM slowly disappeared after she was approached by a former WWE Champion who sought her aid following loss to Rey Mysterio. She earned the title of ‘Image Consultant’ to John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield and ended up feeling the brunt of JBL’s big mouth - suffering a 619, worms being shoved down her skirt and eventually the brutal removal of her mole courtesy of The Boogeyman. Jillian Hall was eventually fired by JBL after accidentally slamming a steel cage door into his head the week before.
The release created much comedy for Melina who began laughing at Hall’s expense. The two wound up in several matches and
eventually met at Judgment Day where Jillian fell victim to the Paparazzi Queen. Following the feud Jillian Hall began
tagging with Ashley who was feuding with Michelle McCool and Kristal Marshall. After Jillian Hall disappeared and wasn’t
seen again until February of 2007.
Jillian Hall began berating the 2007 WWE Playboy Cover Girl Ashley Massaro. Hall claimed she was talented both in and out of the ring, unlike Ashley. Consequently she developed a taste for singing - incredibly poorly - which now garners much heat for the diva. Jillian Hall got her chance to sing in front of Timbaland but was laughed at, though her confidence remained strong.
After feuding with Michelle McCool the SmackDown! regular found herself involved in the supplemental draft where she was sent to RAW.
ALL RED, AND HOPEFULLY GOLD
She won her very first match after teaming with Melina against the duo of Mickie James and Candice Michelle. Since her RAW debut Jillian Hall has continued to sing belting out more solo hits and even duets with both Daivari and Santino Marella.Late-2007 Jillian found herself battling with the voice of Lilian Garcia. The RAW Ring Announcer prepared to release her debut album, and she wasn't alone. Jillian also prepared to release her Christmas Album which would be exclusive to iTunes. Fans seemed to be in the Christmas Spirit as they flocked to purchase her out-of-tune songs.
Jillian continues performing both physically and vocally for the fans of the WWE, as much some dislike it. With allies in the form of Melina many have to question whether Jillian will be adding one more piece of gold to her already decorated trophy room.
