THE ROAD TO STARDOM
Kara Drew - known to WWE fans as Cherry - signed with the WWE in 2005. Kara’s history in wrestling dates back much further though. Her career started in 1999 where she entered as a manager in the IWF promotion. At this time she also began her training as a wrestling with Gino Caruso at ECPW and eventually broadened her schedule to work over the whole of the East Coast mixing it up as both a manager and wrestler. By 2003 she began taking bookings primarily as a wrestler and two years later she was reporting to OVW at the orders of WWE.THE SKATIN' VALET
Drew made her debut as Cherry, valet of The Throwbacks (Deuce and Domino). She became part of their 1950s gimmick, wearing poodle skirts and roller skates and chewing gum at all times. Cherry made her WWE debut on the January 19, 2007 edition of Smackdown! managing Deuce & Domino. On the April 20, 2007 edition of SmackDown!, Cherry was in the corner of Deuce & Domino when they captured the WWE Tag Team Titles.ALL BY MYSELF
In early-2008 Theodore Long - the temporary General Manager of SmackDown! - put together a Divas Competition, with the winner getting a custom made motorcycle. For weeks fans voted for their favourite diva after each competition aired on SmackDown! Cherry participated alongside Michelle McCool, Maryse, Eve Torres and Victoria. Unfortunately for Cherry she failed to capture the fans hearts and lost out as one of the final three.Soon after Deuce N' Domino ditched Cherry as the heart-broken sister went all alone into the dangerous world of ECW/SmackDown! Divas Competition. Cherry may not have the best win-loss record, fans can see though that her heart is inside the ring.
