Q&A with Daizee Haze [2008] |
||
![]() How did the whole Daizee Haze name and gimmick come about? The gimmick is kind of a tribute. My father was a hippy back in the day; sadly he passed away when I was 15. His hippy attitude was free spirited, easygoing, peaceful, and these were all things I believed in and wanted to pass on to others. I actually stole the name from my younger sister. She wanted to legally change her name to Daisy Hayes, and then out grew the idea. I liked the ring of it and thought it had marketability, fit the gimmick perfectly, so I went with it. What was it like being trained by Kid Kash & Delirious?
It was tough, but that’s what I crave- a challenge. I trained with guys, did everything they did, and was treated like one
of the boys. It was great- I think it is the only way to train as a female. If you want to wrestle like and be as respected
as a male wrestler, you must, as a woman, do the same things men do to get in the business. Special treatment only hinders
you. [Read More..]

Q&A with Jetta [2008] |
||
![]() How did you first get involved in wrestling? It was kind of by mistake, a friend of mine was really into wrestling and I used to always make fun of her. Then the better friends we became the more she tried to force me into liking wrestling, one night I stayed around hers and she made me watch a PPV I forget which one it was around late 2001 and I actually quite enjoyed it and from then showed an interest and would watch it with her a lot. Then we found out there was a training school near by us went along and here I am! Who inspired you?
There wasn’t really a set person that inspired me I just thought it would be a fun thing to do, like I say I wasn’t a big
fan growing up but as I started training I watched more wrestling other then WWE and really found out about the history of
British wrestling. I guess from then someone that inspired me was (and is) Jim Breaks mainly as he always worked really
hard to make others look good, bumping all over the place for people but still managing to look a threat as well as really
entertaining and interacting with the crowd.

Q&A with MsChif [2008] |
||
![]() How did your MsChif gimmick come about, did you think of it or was it somebody who gave you the idea? The promotion I debuted with had asked for me to be a crazy character. Crazy, I just didn't quite have in me though. So instead trying to be something that just wasn't me, I let surface what was awaiting inside. The gimmick was born in my 1st match. I went out to the ring and gave them what I had and it has just developed along since. How did you get started in the wrestling business? Was there anything in particular that really attracted you to wrestling and made you think "Yeah, this is what I'm supposed to be doing"?
I had always been a fan of wrestling. Someone had once asked me, "If there is one fun thing you'd like to do in your life
what would that be?" I told them become a wrestler. Shortly after that I looked up the nearest wrestling school and went to
check it out.
